APPLYING ONTO FIBRE CEMENT, MDF, AND OTHER SIMILAR SUBSTRATES

Product: Monocel GP Primer Sealer

Surface Preparation:

All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease and dirt. Any existing coating must be checked for good adhesion.

Any loosely adhered coating must be removed and bare surfaces must be prepared, clean and dry.

All nail holes should be filled with a water based filler. Sand the filler back prior to coating.

Applications:

Bondall timberEffects GP Primer Sealer is ready to use. no thinning is required. Stir well before use with a broad flat paddle.

Apply one coat with a good quality dry brush. Brisk, uniform application is essential to maintain a wet edge, especially in hot weather. Re-Coating time is 1hr. do not apply in temperatures below 10ºC.

Coverage

The approximate coverage is 6 - 8 m /L

Drying Time

Bondall timberEffects GP Primer Sealer is quick drying. Drying time is normally 1hr depending on temperature, humidity and other weather conditions.

Clean Up

Cleans easily. Wash brushes out whilst wet with water and detergent. do not pour washings down sink or drains. dispose of all containers in accordance with local council regulations.

Precautions/ First Aid

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Should contact occur to the eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention should irritation take place. If ingested, do not induce vomiting. Give plenty of water to drink. Seek medical advice immediately.
